Here are some pics of our 2 of our happy clients pre-closing on the brand new below market rate units at 1400 Mission.

#FridayforGood with @TwitterSF at 518 Minna Street
On #FridayforGood, April 17, 2015, we were joined by three "Tweeps" (Sunny Chou, James Koval and Amol Deshmukh from Twitter's San Francisco headquarters) who helped spruce up our solar-powered low-income apartment building at 518 Minna Street in the Central Market neighborhood. Since the building is on the heavily-trafficked 6th Street, the exterior and roof are heavily exposed to the elements. We were excited to have Twitter on-site help make this building a more welcoming place for our residents and the neighborhood they live in! Thank you to our friends at Twitter for your generosity of time and energy.

Fresno and San Jose MBDAs visit Malaysia
Representatives from Fresno and San Jose MBDA Business Centers journeyed to Malaysia on a fact finding mission on behalf of MBDA clients. Raymond Au Yeong (San Jose MBDA) and David Mendoza (Fresno MBDA) identified buyers: manufacturers, restaurant chains, grocery stores, and developers/builders looking for suppliers from U.S. On their travels and meetings they developed key partnerships with Malaysian buyers, suppliers and MBDA clients. They visited manufacturing plants, chocolate factory, Chinese restaurant chain, regional grocery store chain, medical healthcare center and regional farms and orchards of durian fruit, passion fruit, rubber trees and banana farms. By planning ahead the MBDA team arranged meetings and appointments with key buyers, purchasing agents, and government leaders. They even met with top officers at the U.S. Embassy, U.S. Commercial Service, Ag Service and city leaders (Kuala Lumpur). The U.S. Commercial Service provided good updated information for exporting into Malaysia and identified top prospects sectors for U.S. Companies:• Commercial Sectors: Aircraft & Parts, Oil & Gas Equipment, Renewable Energy, Water Technologies and Franchising. • Agricultural Sectors: Dairy Products, Temperate Fresh Fruits, Almonds, and Pistachio Nuts. • Malaysians love U.S. products and services, especially franchises. • Business Climate Advantages: Widespread English, relaxed foreign exchange, repatriation of capital and profits, established legal framework, excellent infrastructure. • Major imports from U.S.: Aviation Products, Oil & Gas Equipment, Medical & Healthcare Products, Services (Education, Research & Design, Tourism, and Financial Services).Fresno MBDA reported their activities and exporting opportunities to the monthly MBDA Export Working Group at the December 9 Teleconference with San Antonio MBDA, and entire network of MBDA Business Centers. Since our return from Malaysia, Fresno and San Jose MBDAs have followed up with key MBDA clients - shipping product samples and price lists to prospective buyers. There may be a follow-up trip to Malaysia in Spring 2015.
